Using our Online Web Folder (WebDAV) to upload your files.
You can create a folder link between your desktop and Online File Folder® that gives you easy file and folder access to Online File Folder content. You navigate through the files using Microsoft Windows® Explorer or Mac OS X® Finder, and you can copy, move, delete, and create folders through the interface.
The process to connect to Online File Folder as a WebDAV folder varies, depending on your operating system and browser.
Using Windows XP and Internet Explorer
- Using Internet Explorer, log in to Online File Folder.
- From the Tools menu, click Open as Web Folder.
- Enter your Online File Folder User name and Password.
Using Windows 7 and Any Browser
- From the Windows menu, select Computer.
- Right-click Computer in the left-hand menu, and then select Map Network Drive.
- Click Connect to a website that you can use to store your documents and pictures, and then click Next.
- Select Choose a custom network location, and then click Next.
- Enter “https://onlinefilefolder.com/webdav/index.php/victorypromo”, in the Internet or Network Address field, and then click Next.
- Enter your Online File Folder user name and password, and then click OK.
- Enter a name for this network location, such as ‘Online File Folder,’ and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
Windows lists your WebDAV connection to Online File Folder under Network Locations in Computer.
Using Windows Vista and Any Browser
- From the Vista Start menu, in the right pane, select Computer.
- On the menu bar at the top of the window, click Map Network Drive.
- In the Map Network Drive window, in the Drive menu, select a network drive label not already in use.
- In the Folder field, type “https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/dav/victorypromo”.
- Click Finish.
- When prompted, enter your Online File Folder user name and password.
NOTE: Folder and file names in your Online File Folder cannot exceed 100 characters if you are accessing them through Windows Vista.
Using Mac OS X and Any Browser
- Click Finder from your application dock.
- At the top of the screen, from the Go menu, select Connect to Server.
- In the Server Address field, type “https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/dav/victorypromo”.
TIP: You can add this server address to your Favorites list for future access. - Click Connect.
- When prompted, enter your Online File Folder user name and password.
Using Any Other Windows and Browser Combination
- Right-click on the Start button, and select Explore.
- In the Folders list, click My Network Places.
- Click Add a network place.
- In the Add Network Place Wizard window, click Next.
- Select Choose another network location, and then click Next.
- In the Internet or network address field, type “https://www.onlinefilefolder.com/webdav/index.php/victorypromo” and then click Next.
- Enter your Online File Folder user name and password, and then click OK.
- In the Type a name for this network place field, enter the name you want to use to identify this folder, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- If prompted, enter your Online File Folder user name and password to access the folder.
To access Online File Folder as a Web Folder by going to My Network Places in Windows Explorer, and double-click the location you created in the steps above.
